About this tour

Explore the highest volcanic peak in the Middle East on a guided adventure.

Highlights

  • Mount Damavand is the highest elevation about 5628m a. l. s. in Iran. It is an inactive volcanic mountain which was activated in Quaternary Period. It has numerous thermal springs. The peak of Damavand covers permanently snow during the entire year.
  • Mount Damāvand is the 12th most prominent peak in the world and is part of the Volcanic Seven Summits mountaineering challenge.

Included/Excluded

  • -A specialized mountaineering guide, who is licensed by the Ministry of Tourism and the Mountaineering Federation.
  • -Accommodation in Tehran (2 Nights in a 3-star Hotel)
  • -Accommodation in Damavand (3 Nights in camp)
  • -All transfers between the Hotel and Damavand Mountain, including 4WD cars on the Damavand base camp route.
  • -Meals (4 breakfasts in Camp, 2 lunches in a Restaurant, and all meals in Camp)
  • -Snacks for all days
  • -Bottled water (1.5-liter bottles)
  • -Mules to carry cargo between the Base camp and the last camp at 4200 meters altitude.
  • -A Climbing Certificate will be provided
  • -A dedicated pool at the hot spring will be available on the last day

Itinerary

Upon your arrival at IKIA International Airport, our representative will warmly greet you. You will then be transferred by private car to your hotel. After checking in, you can relax and unwind in preparation for the exciting journey ahead. (Transfer details may vary based on your flight schedule.)
